Chapter 16:  Chapter sixteen in rather short.  She is planning to woo the Cardinal to support Sir Thomas Chaney, in order to take control of the wardship of Mistress Anne Broughton. She talks to the King about the plan and he approves. At the end of the chapter we are made aware that it is the first day of Lint. Ann then proceeds to ask Master Henearge if he would both forgive and support Sir Thomas in obtaining the wardship of Ann.

Chapter 17:  Ann is visited by her brother George, who tells her she has an hour to get ready for a picnic with Henry.   Henry shows Ann a two thousand year old ankerwycke yew. There was a man named Will at the picnic with a monkey, we are then informed that Ann Boleyn is afraid of them. Ann and her ladies in waiting dance while the men watch.  At the end of the chapter Henry tells Ann that he loves her.  Ann turns away, but then turns back responding, I love you too.  

Chapter 18:  Chapter eighteen is about the May Day festivals.  Ann is upset that the queen is attending, and decides to stay inside. Ann then talks with Nan, giving her the book, Obedience of a Christian Man.  Ann knows that the book will be stolen from Nan, but tells her to keep it close.

Chapter 13:  In the beginning of chapter thirteen Ann gets a Visit from her friend Margery. Margery then proceeds to tell Ann that her husband is of poor health. We are also informed that Margret has six children, one of which passed away. She then tells Ann that she and her husband will be her eyes and ears in court. The Chapter then focuses on Thomas Wyatt and the King.  Thomas pulls the locket he took from Ann out in front of the King.  The King then gets angry and wants to know the relationship between them.

Chapter 14:  Chapter fourteen starts off with a visit from Stephen Garrison and Edward fox. They are on their way to see the Pope, in hopes of getting the annulment approved. They give Ann a letter from the King explaining the situation, and that Ann should send them on their way. The chapter ends with Edward giving Ann the book, Obedience of a Christian Man.

Chapter 15:  This chapter is about the reunion of Ann and her beloved King Henry. After four months apart, they are now back together.  They kiss and hug each other, only to notice that the queen is watching from her Privy Chambers.

Chapter 9:  In the beginning of chapter nine Ann sits with the Duke of Suffolk and Norfolk. They ask Ann to assist them in destroying Wolsey.  Ann Agrees, and pledges her alliance to the cause. Ann, Mary and Nan then head to the Richmond Palace, where they see two heads impaled by a pole.

Chapter 10:  In chapter ten Ann gets into an altercation with Wolsey. It is implied that Ann is nothing more than a whore.  Ann then proceeds to embarrass Wolsey, making him flush. Ann proceeds to King Henry’s chambers, where they learn that the pope has yet to approve the annulment.

Chapter 11:  Ann and her party then travel to Greenwich to celebrate the king’s investiture. While walking, Ann stumbles upon eleven year old Katherine, who is King Henry’s future wife.  Ann talks to her brother George, expressing her distress and anger towards the Queen.   They then decide to leave the castle and go on a horse ride. When to return to the castle their father reprimands them for not being to the Kings investiture.   The chapter ends with a masque, with Henry and Ann dancing in the queens presence.

Chapter 12:  Chapter twelve is a rather short.  Ann thinks it would be best if she returned home. She believes the gossip and rumors will die down if she is not around the King.  Ann Chooses Nan Mary and Joan to accompany her. At the end of the chapter Ann’s mother gives her a banned book called The First English Translation of the New Testament.
